CureCN 3rd Progress Meeting meets in Paris and online

From May 31st to June 1st, 2022 the CureCN Consortium met in Paris and virtually for their third Progress Meeting.

The Consortium discussed the progress of the CureCN project, focusing on an update of the Clinical Trial and with a special input from the Patient Organizations speaking on behalf of CureCN patients and their families. “Not many European projects end up with a successful phase I/II clinical trial. CureCN has the potential to deliver a therapy for a rare liver disease, we should be proud of it”, says Giuseppe Ronzitti, one of the CureCN coordinators.

Furthermore, the next steps for the final year of the project were discussed.

The Coordinators of CureCN, Gérald Perret and Giuseppe Ronzitti were especially delighted to welcome the Consortium in Paris. “It is so precious to have these open discussions and different perspectives from scientists, experts in development, physicians and patient associations. It is one of main added value of such a consortium. The next six month should bring important news, I look forward to being early 2023 and to seeing the progress of the project”, says Gérald.

The Consortium was happy to meet again in person after over two years and is excited to continue the CureCN Project.
