Preliminary results of CureCN presented at EASL congress

One of our project partners, Dr. Lorenzo D’Antiga from “Azienda Ospedaliera Papa Giovanni XXIII”, Bergamo, Italy) presented the results from the first treated patients within the CureCN project at this year’s EASL (European Association for the Study of the Liver) congress that took place virtually from June 23-26 Jun, 2021. Dr. D’Antiga is very excited regarding the results achieved in the clinical trial so far and he confirmed that the treatment has shown to be safe and able to correct the disease to an extent that allowed the first patient to stop daily phototherapy, eliminating the risk of neurological injury.
